Before its official registration in 2021, Nelojosh personally visited various communities across Nigeria, extending care and support to the elderly. In a society where issues like child labor, rape, and kidney problems often overshadow the needs of geriatrics, Nelojosh recognized the plight of the elderly—frail, abandoned, and overlooked.

About Nelojosh Cares Foundation

We are a leading care foundation dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their dreams through innovative solutions and exceptional services.

Nelojosh Cares Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization founded by Chinelo Okafor Josephine, also known as Nelojosh, is dedicated to uplifting the elderly in Nigeria. As Nelojosh passionately states, “The fact that strangers made me who I am is enough reason to give back to strangers,” which inspired the creation of this foundation.

Understanding the importance of engaging with and supporting the elderly, Nelojosh Cares Foundation has made significant contributions. In 2021, they built homes for three elderly individuals in different parts of Nigeria. In 2022, their “Clarion Call” initiative led to the construction of another home for a couple in Nimo, Anambra State, with the help of generous community members. Additionally, the foundation provides monthly stipends to several elderly people who lack family support.
